Our Summer Recital Programme starts on Tuesday 2nd May and runs until Tuesday 26th September, with the Minster Cafe open from 10.30am until the start of the recitals at 12.30pm.

Tea & Music @ the Vicarage 3.00pm, Sunday 14th May
Featuring works by Handel, Finzi, and others; Jeremy Wootten, Matthew Wootten and Jan Moore offer an afternoon's concert themed on Spring.  Tea and cakes will be avialble at the interval.
 
Entry is FREE with donations going to Minster Funds.
 
 
Thy Kingdom Come Service at King's Lynn Minster 7.30pm, Thursday 25th May

As part of the global prayer movement, Thy Kingdom Come, King's Lynn Minster will be holding a Beacon Service for Ascension Day.

The Archbishop’s Of Canterbury & York together with other Church leaders have invited us to join a Global Wave of Prayer between Ascension Day and Pentecost.

This event will be a Common Worship order one sung Eucharist and led by Bishop of Lynn, Jonathan Meyrick.

Specially designed candles to burn during the 10 days of prayer will also be given to everyone.

"The Forgotten Gem" celebrity organ concert by Francesca Massey (Durham Cathedral).  Miss Massey will sign copies of her newly released CD of the Minster Organ.
 
 
Mad, Bad and Dangerous to Know? 4.30pm, Friday 28th July

Margery Kempe (1373-c1440) is one of Lynn's most famous residents.  this hour long lecture by Dr Laura Kalas Williams focuses on the connection between religion and medicine in the Middle Ages.

King's Lynn Minster Grand Summer Fete 10.00am - 1.00pm, Saturday 29th July, FREE Entry
Come along and enjoy a traditional Church Fete. Enjoy the sideshows, relax in the café , browse the stalls: plants, books, bric-abrac, crafts and much more!  
 
 
Bible Study continues on Thursdays at 2.15pm at Dorothy Kings’ house at 113 Gaywood Road. The group read a section of a book of the Bible then discuss and share thoughts about it. The Julian Group - Meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 11.00am in the Benedict Chapel (St Edmunds Chapel in May) for half an hour of silent prayer – all welcome.

Coffee Time at Marriott's Warehouse - Last Wednesday of the Month, 10.30am, join us for coffee and a catch-up

 

Thursday Fellowship Group - Last Thursday of the Month, 10.15am for 10.30am start at St John's Good News Centre. An opportunity for coffee, chat and topical discussion.  (No meeting in December)

 

Coffee on the Couch - Every Thursday, 10am - 12 Noon, North Lynn Methodist Church. Why not come and join us?  Not only coffee (or tea) but made on the spot cakes created by Natalie our resident helper. Certainly a time for a chat and natter - put the world to rights!   

 

Food Collection - 3rd Sunday of each Month at the 10am Service. Collections throughout the year will be on the third Sunday of each month and will be sent either to the Foodbank or the Purfleet Trust as follows:
Foodbank: January, Feb, April, May, July, August, September & November.

The Purfleet Trust:  March, June, October, December
